Journalists allowed to work in the toilets and kurilkah Lithuanian Sejm.

Members of the Lithuanian Parliament (Seimas) refused earlier decision on the limitation of working journalists in the buildings of the legislative body. As the RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of Parliament, the board revoked the decision of the Seimas of these limitations, such as the ban on photos and video in toilets and kurilkah.
It is noted that the MPs after the cancellation of numerous protests by media workers, who complained of infringement of their rights Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus. That stand up for journalists, finding that the restrictions on which insisted Seimas, are in violation of the constitution.
At the same time, according to the press service, the Board of the Seimas decided to establish a working group to draw up new rules for the work of media representatives in Parliament. In particular, it is anticipated that work there will be not to accredit more than three people from the editorial.
The restrictions for journalists covering the work of the Lithuanian Seimas, was introduced in November 2008. Then they banned the use of camcorders, cameras and sound recording equipment in the bathrooms, the Seimas, dining and places for smoking.
According to the Board of the Seimas, the new rules were to help the deputies to avoid unwanted contact with journalists. It was noted that the past has repeatedly zastavali people's elected representatives by surprise, in particular, for raspitiem alcoholic beverages.
