Time magazine named Obama man of the year.

Elected U.S. President Barack Obama called "man of the year" according to the magazine Time. The immediate rivals Obama were U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, the Governor of Alaska Sarah Peylin and Chinese film director Zhang Imou.
Of course, the main achievement of Obama called the fact that he won "some of the most foolish" elections in U.S. history, and won a seat 44 th U.S. President: despite its relatively small political experience, "a ridiculous name of" resisting the strong opponents and racial prejudice.
On the cover of Time put a portrait of the new U.S. leader made Feyri artist Shepard (Shepard Fairey). The poster, the portrait was released early in the campaign Obama and subsequently received widespread fame. A paper version numbers on the Man of the Year, will be on sale on Friday.
Man of the Year title awarded by Time magazine person (as well as a group of people, the idea and so on), which has had the greatest influence on the events of the year. Last time, in 2007, Time declared man of the year Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is currently the Head of Government of the Russian Federation.
