   Georgian opposition leaders agreed with the television coverage of the protests in Tbilisi, said on April 8, RIA Novosti.
United Opposition leader Levan Gachechiladze said at 20:00 on Georgian "First Channel" news show, which will be illuminated by the progress of the opposition action. TV Guide has agreed to allow opposition leaders calling for the resignation of President Mikhail Saakashvili, the opportunity to live.
Recall previously reported that some protesters, led by Gachechiladze went to the building to agree on the television broadcast.
The protests began in Tbilisi and in Batumi and Poti on 9 April. Under the original plan, they should last until April 16. During the rally the opposition demanded that Saakashvili resigned within days. On his plans in the event of failure to comply with the ultimatum the protesters, according to latest figures, announced on 10 April at 15:00 (previously reported that this will happen at 16:00). Saakashvili has responded to demand the refusal of the opposition. He said that the head of state should not be changed during the global financial crisis.
The leader of opposition "Alliance for Georgia" Irakli Alasania told reporters that during the 2-3 hours on 9 April rally in Tbilisi attended by about 130 thousand protesters. In the Georgian mass media information on the number of participants ranges - known as the numbers from 30 to 150 thousand people.
