Half of Russians do not trust the information about the economy in the Russian media.

Almost half of Russians (48 percent) do not trust the local media in regard to coverage of the economic situation in the country. These data are contained in the December sociological survey conducted by "public opinion" (ФОМ).

In doing so, 57 percent of those surveyed also believed that the Russian media coverage of the economic situation in Russia is incomplete, as 47 per cent confident that the economic situation is much worse than its present mass media.

In doing so, 30 percent of Russians believe that the journalists themselves are aware of the reality situation in the economy, but they were not allowed to talk about it. As can be seen from the survey, the most common bias of the media say the residents of Moscow (64 percent), citizens with higher education (57 percent) and people involved in business (57 percent).
