A gunman shot dead a leading independent radio station director of the Somali capital Mogadishu, reports AFP.
The murder was committed on 4 February. A member of the HornAfrik radio reported that the director has left the editorial staff, and later his body was found on the street.
As a sign of mourning for the slain chief HornAfrik has decided not to go on the air.
